How to Get Skill Points and Upgrade Your Player in RFC 27
Last updated:
Develop your RFC 27 My Player by earning XP in matches and spending skill points on the attributes that suit your position.
Play My Player matches to earn XP and level up; each level-up awards skill points. Open MY PLAYER → UPGRADE, check an attribute’s current value, potential and SP cost, then press its + button. For an early striker, shooting, passing and dribbling are useful areas to develop.
XP, Levels, Skill Points and Overall
My Player matches give you XP toward your next level. When you level up, you receive skill points (SP) to spend on attributes. A loss can still award XP, so a defeat can contribute to your progress.
Your level and overall rating are separate numbers: matches advance your level, while spending points develops your attributes and overall. RFC 27 sets 99 overall as a My Player progression goal.

How to Upgrade Attributes
You need available skill points before you can buy an upgrade.
- Open MY PLAYER → UPGRADE. You can also use the lobby’s UPGRADE entrance or choose UPGRADE MY PRO on the match results screen.
- Select an attribute category.
- Read the attribute’s current value, its POTENTIAL cap and the SP cost displayed beside the + button.
- Press + next to the attribute you want to improve.
Potential is the displayed cap for that attribute; the current value tells you where it stands now. Check the displayed cost before spending your points.
Attribute Categories and Upgrade Costs
The upgrade panel groups attributes under PAC, SHO, PAS, DRI, DEFESA and PHY. PAC includes ACCELERATION and SPRINT SPEED; SHO includes FINISHING, SHOT POWER and LONG SHOTS.
In one early shooting upgrade session, each press of the + button for Finishing, Shot Power or Long Shots cost 1 SP. Use the cost shown on your own panel when deciding where to spend.
An Early Striker Setup
One early ST setup uses a height of approximately 1.80 m and a weight of 83 kg, with points invested in shooting, passing and dribbling. After the upgrades, this Level 2 striker has 68 SHO, 62 PAS, 63 DRI and 64 overall.
For a new striker who wants to finish chances and combine with teammates, this is a useful direction: develop shooting for attempts on goal while keeping passing and dribbling in mind for build-up play. Treat the body measurements and resulting ratings as one setup, rather than a required build or a precise point-by-point recipe.
